Liturgical Ministries

We invite you to consider one of the liturgical ministries that make up our parish family, and to discern where God is calling you to devote your personal gifts, time and talent. The opportunities to share your God-given skills, abilities and personal talents are many.

Altar Servers assist the priest (celebrant) during Mass and at other Liturgical Celebrations.

Arts & Environment assist the Pastor and Sacristan throughout the church year in preparing the sanctuary for Mass and varios church season decorations.

Children's Liturgy volunteers to read, teach and help children (ages K - 5th) to reflect upon the Sunday Gospel during the 10:30am Sunday Mass.

Eucharistic Ministry assist the priest in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to those unable to attend.

Lectors proclaim the Word of God to the assembly.

Ministers of Hospitality greet and welcome parishioners and visitors as they enter the church for Mass.

Music Ministry: provides appropriate musical settings that encourage the participation of the assembly in enhancing the beuaty and meaning of the Liturgical Celebration.

Sacristans assist in the preparation, removal, cleaning and safe storage of items to be used during Mass.  Assist in cleaning the Church before the holiday seasons.

Ushers greet and assist people in their expressed needs.  They are responsible for the collection of weekly contributions and for the distribution of our parish bulletin.
